ARTS & CULTURE MASTERPLAN
It is our goal to implement innovative programs as an economic boost to support career pathways, growing creative economy, and ultimately developing The WINZONE as a cultural destination.
Included in the W.I.N plan are strategies to promote, showcase and expand the presence of culture and arts for visitors to learn, discover, experience and consume attractions or products as a commerce point to build community resources, jobs, and financial sustainability.

LA County will invest $160 billion over the coming decades to expand and improve LA’s public transportation system, transforming how we travel, work, play, and live. Willowbrook faces how to ensure that our Transit Oriented Community & Developments benefits local stakeholders and not be displaced by this unprecedented public investment.
WIN is currently engaged on policy work on multiple levels. In terms of transportation policy, WIN is a part of the ACT-LA Coalition promoting the Transit Oriented Communities, Alternatives to Policing and Fare Free Transit Campaigns.
Projects / Programs
Inequities in park access across neighborhoods are the result of policies, laws, and practices that have segregated communities along racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic lines but because we didn’t arrive at this point by accident, we can legislate, fund, plan, and design our way out.
Directly tied to the health outcomes of Willowbrook residents and surrounding communities is the Park Equity Alliance (PEA), in which WIN is an active member. WIN has been at the forefront of policies related to Measure A and the development of community based public safety strategies.
